Miss Millie is 3 months old today! I can not believe how much she has grown! (That has to be one of the most over used sentences with mothers and babies :) She is becoming a much happier baby. She is still on medicine for her reflex, special (really smelly) formula, and almost a clear bum (we have been having issues with really bad diaper rashes). Millie is lucky to have a big brother who loves her so much. She is lucky not to have gagged on a binky that is forcefully shoved in her mouth. She is sleeping about 5 hour stretches at night. That makes a huge difference! She coos and talks A LOT (it must be a girl thing). She does not roll over, but does move in circles. She only does that when no one is looking. Seriously you will lay her down and leave to do something, come back and she has moved. When you sit there and watch her, she does not move. Funny Girl! Over all we are all happy and love her very much!
Grandma got James some puppets. It took him a few days to really like them. I think there is something about being sick that makes you just wanna lay around. Now that he is feeling better, he loves them!
I just thought I would share how cute my kids were. I especially love that James now "smiles" for the camera. It may not look like it but he is really happy, I promise :)
Sage is still James best friend, and she sure puts up with a lot from him.
Millie and I went in to wake James up. He of course needed a diaper change, so I laid her in his crib while I changed him. James then insisted on getting back in his crib. All he wanted to do was lay down with her.
I have decided it is time to move Millie out of our room. While she was taking her morning nap James and I set-up her crib. Of course he had to test it out first :) I think it will work!
Sorry about the quality, it was taken with my phone.
We blessed Millie this morning. It was great to have family there to show us support. It is such a powerful ordinance that takes place, and we loved that they were there with us.
P.S Please note Millie's blanket. My mother spent 3 weeks slaving over this blanket and she did an awesome job :)
We had some family in town for Millie's baby blessing. Jon's parents, brother (and family) and sister(and family) came, along with my parents and Megan. In total we had 17 people over. It was a crowded house!! I knew we needed something to do, or we would all go crazy. There is an awesome family in our ward, and they have a pool that they let people use. It was a life saver!! We all had a blast!
Today I am cleaning like a mad fool (and needed to take a break) for family to come into town tomorrow. I needed James to entertain himself, so I graciously let him clean his own chair by himself. He got it all clean, I was shocked!!
