James and Fall leaves

We decided to spend one last weekend doing yard work. Dad was so nice to make us this pile of leaves that we got to play in. It took a few minutes to realize that we could play, once he got the hang of it he loved it!!

Halloween

For those of you who guessed James was a bear! He was the bear that dad did not get this year :(
James hated the hat, and luckily only wore it for a short time.

Fall

I love this time of year. I love how the colors change and the temperatures drop a little bit. I tried again to take a few pictures of James and I enjoy it out front. This is the best I could do

8 Months Old

8 Months!!! I will say we did a lot better taking pictures this time around. We love our little boy! By this date we have 2 teeth, and can stay standing by ourselves for a few seconds. When he falls down, he has the biggest smile on his face.

Conference Weekend

Conference Weekend James and I went down to my parents house. Jon and my Dad went hunting. James did pretty good. He did really good at distracting us :) He had a blast just playing around











We also took him to the park. It was his first time in the swing, and he loved it!!! Thanks Grandma for taking us out!











Also we found this firetruck in Monument and wanted a picture taken



P.S we do not have pictures but he broke his 2nd tooth this weekend!!

Quality Time

Dad sometimes gets tired of reading baby book to James. Tonight he tried a hunting magazine instead







We also added more decor to James Room. This are the mule deer antlers from last years hunt. It was the first mule deer Jon has gotten, they look really good in James room.



Also added is an embroidery that I did for James. You can't see it really good but it says

Bath Time Fun

Bath time is his favorite time of the day. I swear he could play in there for hours!!

I have this super cute video of James I would love to share. He has this yellow toy that is meant to be laid under so that he can play on his back with the toys. It is no longer used for this purpose. James has started to use it as a walker. Yes he is barely 7 months old and has started to walk around. He is growing up to fast!!

( I am sorry if this is confusing, the video would clear it up a lot!!)

A visit

Grandma and Grandpa came up this weekend. I love that they at least come up once a month to get supplies! It makes for a fun weekend, but really short! During this trip Grandpa showed Jon how to finish mounting his deer antlers. While James sat there and watched.

7 Months Old

Well he did it, he grew and now he is another month older!! Needless to say you can tell from the pictures that he does not hold still very well, hence not the best pictures. BUT we still love him!

Jon and my dad had a hunting weekend. James and I tagged along. I don't think we will do that again. When he walks it might be different, but he can only eat so much dirt :)
