Portland Weekend

My sister got married on January 12. Since we found that out we planned on taking a few extra days to doing somethings as a family before the wedding. We got there on Wednesday night and stopped at Ikea to get a few things. Made it to the hotel and passed out. We learned that James talks in his sleep and that both kids are extremely light sleepers. The joys of all 4 of us sleeping together :) 

We decided we would hit the zoo on Thursday because of weather and OMSI on Friday. It was cold but the kids loved the zoo. James was excited about all the animals. We were very sad to learn that the zoo got rid of the wolves and elk (2 of his favorite animals). Millie just hung out in the stroller. We got back to the hotel and passed out again. 

 I was sad that we did not make it to OMSI on Thursday. Because of how well the kids were NOT sleeping, we did a lot of napping that day!

 Saturday was a fun but busy day. I am super sad I did not get 1 picture of the wedding. Have 2 cold, grumpy tired kids that only want mom and dad, make things a little difficult. It was beautiful and we are so happy for Megan and Billy. 

Sunday we went to my parents old ward for church and headed home. We loved the trip, we wish the kids didn't get so tired so we could have packed in a few more things!!
