Outside Fun

It was so beautiful we went outside to play. James moved from Sage to me and back again. He really loves playing with his dog.





We tried to take some pictures with just the two of us, didn't really work out

Grandma's House

James and I went to Grandma's house. Great Grandma and Grandpa were visiting and they had a lot of canning to do. We went to help, well I think we helped :)

We at least helped with cleaning up, and had a blast doing it!

Update on Garden

I have been slacking in updating pictures from our garden. We have really learned a lot this year from this experience, and just hope next year will be great too!

We have canned green beans, and we really should can more. We got over 40 cans! Next up we are starting our first round of Salsa. Our tomatoes are starting to be ripe. We have enjoy our broccoli and only wish to find a way to can that too. The lettuce was good, carrots need to be picked. We did find two cauliflower plants poke up. We hope they make it.

Since being with Uncle Garrett I think James now feels that he needs to work out. He has really been working on pulling himself up, to gain those arm muscles!!

James now thinks he is an expert on sitting (which he is) and standing up (still a little wiggly). That is all he does now.

Last night we hung out in the back yard, we tried the front yard tonight



The funny part is the little shake he does around 3 seconds. He was shaking more earlier, the grass was tickling him :)

It was a great evening! It was still warm (like 85 degrees). But in the shade it was perfect, so we just sat outside and played.

Than Jon got bored and started looking at the tomatoes. We are going to have to can Salsa this week. P.S this is not even half of the tomatoes!

Fishing the Klickitat

One of Jon's bosses at work has a son who guides steel head fishing off the Klickitat River. Jon was so excited to get the chance to go. He and a friend from work Dan Carow left Friday night and camped with their guide Greg. They got up early on Saturday and hit the river. (If Jon would only blog you would get a lot better of a story, but alas you are stuck with me) Jon caught the 1st steel head it took him 10 minutes to bring it in and they chased it 300 yards. He caught two more, but did not land them. Dan also caught one and a lot of trout.

Jon was a little sad that they could not keep any of the steel head they were all wild. The difference is with the hatchery ones they clip the fin. I did not know that.

Jon is itching to go again! And he said I could go too :). We already have some friends and family lining up to go with him!!I can see this becoming at least a yearly tradition.

Its Official I am 6 Months!!

Here is the BIG Boy. We did go today and got some professional pictures done. Which James maybe smiled once the WHOLE TIME. I needed Sage there to help me out :) James is so close to crawling on all fours, he is constantly moving and torturing Sage. He is eating so many solids and is doing great there. He weighs 19 lbs and is 27 3/4 inches long. Funny fact he will only poop in a clean diaper. NO JOKE

P.S He does not hold still very long anymore
