Trampoline Fun

First thing James did this morning was asked to jump on the tramp. Millie is not to sure about it, she does fine as long as you are holding her. I can tell I am going to love this tramp when the weather gets warmer!!

Our First Snow!!

The kids could not wait to get outside and play in the snow! Too bad the snow was not great for making snowmen or snowballs. 

James insisted on eating snow (even off the walmart parking lot!)

Christmas Came Early

One of my Christmas Presents came early!! We finally have 2 couches, enough room for visitors to sit without pulling over the kitchen chairs. I am in heaven!!

Look...Reindeer!

Every year a local nursery brings 2 reindeer in for the month of December. We didn't make it until the evening, and sadly they were not very active. I did not get great pictures but James loved it!

Short Trip

Mom and Dad came up for a very short trip. I did manage to get a picture of Millie and Papa watching hunting (she loves it)

Sick Season

It finally hit our house! I am not sure what exactly came I know we got colds, cough, ear infections and James had Croup. It was a miserable 5 days!

Starting the Season off Right

If we did not have people over on Thanksgiving I would have decorated the house for Christmas. But alas I waited. I couldn't wait another moment to get our tree. So off we went! It was cold, but the kids loved running in the woods. We got it home, Millie loved playing with the baby gate that goes around the tree. Though she did not like being in the baby gate. Later we did some Christmas shopping together. We did learn it is the last year we can take James with us, he now remembers what we get him!!

Thanksgiving

Our Thanksgiving we nothing special this year. We did not have any family around, and at first was maybe going to take a trip, or just do something fun as a family. Well it turns out that Jon had a new co-worker who just moved into town, and his family were living in a small apartment. We thought it would be better if we invited them over. We did. Had fun, cooked all the fixing, and that was it. I did not get one picture! 

We woke up the next day and started our Christmas shopping! Tis the Season!!

Jon went hunting with my dad, again (shocker!) So the kids and I went down to hang out with my mom. It was a very relaxing weekend, and we really just helped her with her chores. She had to take care of some friend's animals. We helped feed a horse, named Grad. James was so excited, until he got up to him. He did not realize how big horses are. After the second day my mom finally got him to pet the horse. Then he bragged about it.  The kids loved checking the coup for eggs. It took James a couple days to be brave enough to pick up a small chicken. Millie on the other hand just went for it, picked it up and laughed. I wish I had gotten a picture of it.
