Service Project

While I was working with Outdoor Activities (on campus) we did a service project restoring trails in Targhee National Forest. A field biology class joined us on our little outing. We had a blast hiking a lot of miles, and saw some really cool things. It was the perfect day.

Blazin trails.
When I was a young boy my father took me to Montana and showed me some of the trails he built into the mountains. Every so often a tree was marked with a "Blaze" which would help me find his way. After many years those "Blaze" marks are still visible and continue to mark the trail for those ready to explore the high country.
These pictures remind us that we are the fore runners for those that will come after us. We need to mark the path and be good examples so that we can all as a family return to our heaven home... which will be of course in the tops of the mountains.
