Pendleton Round-Up

This year my mom wanted to have the first Ussery Reunion. Well that got vetoed real quick, we had to call the it "the family gathering". She wanted to have it at the Pendleton Round-Up (in Pendleton :) It is a huge rodeo and cowboy gathering, it is even world-wide. We decided to stay in Hermiston which is about 30 minutes away, that is where we could find enough rooms for all of us. Garrett was not able to come, he had to work.

Friday we got up and first went to the McNary Dam in Hermiston to watch the fish ladders. James was in heaven!! The kids loved screaming and running from window to window cashing the fish. We loved spending our time outside watching fish, and playing Frisbee golf. After lunch we headed to Pendleton to see the street performers, and went to the children's museum to play, and walk around.

Friday we got up early and headed out to Pendleton for the parade. It was amazing! So many horses, tractors and Indians. The kids loved watching everyone go by. After we ate lunch at this amazing BBQ place. Then we went to the rodeo. Sadly it was too hot and Millie just wanted to walk around. I only got 1 video of the rodeo, but it was amazing! We headed home Friday night and the kids passed out on the way. It was a fast fun-filled weekend. We had a great time with our family and cant wait til next year!
