We finally got out to shoot Jon's gun for the first time. He got this gun for Christmas. It is an AR 15 223. It is really pretty and heavy. It took us so long to shoot because he had to get a scope and mount it just right. Also we had to wait for a some what warm day so that we don't freeze. We went to the gun range for the first time and found out that it is 5 dollars a person to shoot, so Jon was the only one that got to shoot his gun. He did really good for "siting " in the gun. You can't really see his target but he is pretty close in the middle. It was really fun and we can't wait to go out and shoot it some more. He now wants to go coyote hunting in a week to really find out how it shoots.

Cold steel on a hot target... sounds like the beginning of a new story... glad to see you out of the house and into the mountains...
Its all about the sight picture.. keep your eye on the target, finger on the triger and breath. Life and Heaven are much the same.
