Blue Berries

The last 2 nights James and Jon have gone blue berry picking. Jon really wanted to make blueberry syrup. Millie and I stayed home and enjoyed quiet evenings. Well today the syrup dream came alive. Jon made 2 different kinds, and found out the second one is much better. It was a success and we might even make more. Lets also add that for a couple meals after the syrup was made we had pancakes :) It was a great way to break in and welcome canning season!
